Sri Sambamurthy
Co-Founder & Managing Principal

Sri has over 25 years of experience in investing, investment banking, consulting and private equity in the hospitality, leisure and real estate sectors across the globe. Prior to forming West Point Partners, Sri was a Managing Director at Starwood Capital where he was responsible for global corporate and entity level investing. Before his tenure at Starwood Capital, Sri was head of the North American M&A practice at Deutsche Bank in the hospitality and real estate investment banking group. Previously, Sri was an executive director at Morgan Stanley in the real estate and hospitality group both in investing and advisory services. Sri is on the advisory board of Accesso Partners and was a member of the Board of Directors of Northstar Real Estate Corporation, a publicly traded REIT as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Phillips Edison & Company, a public non-traded REIT. Sri is a member of the American Hotel & Lodging Association. Sri earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Madras and MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. Sri is also a CPA.​​
Robert Ashmun
Co-Founder & Managing Principal

Prior to founding West Point Partners, Robert was a Managing Director and Senior Executive in the Lehman Brothers Global Real Estate Group where he completed over $50 billion of investments. Robert was the founder and Head of Lehman’s Real Estate Equity Co-Investment Business, where he completed many of the largest real estate transactions in the world. Robert acquired hundreds of premier office buildings, apartment properties, and industrial properties in North America and Europe. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, Robert was a senior executive at Jones Lang LaSalle where he developed the institutional real estate sales business in the United States. Robert earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from New York University. He also is a CPA.​​
Michael Lee
Principal

Michael has over 15 years of experience in capital markets and commercial real estate finance. Michael is a Principal and has been part of West Point Partners since its inception. Michael's responsibilities include deal sourcing, underwriting, asset management and capital raising. Prior to joining West Point Partners, Michael was a Vice President in the Lehman Brothers Global Real Estate Group syndicating Real Estate Equity Co-investments and Mezzanine debt. Michael also worked as a securitization banker and structured CMBS. Prior to this, Michael was a member of the Institutional Investor ranked Lehman Brothers CMBS Strategies team, where he was responsible for analyzing credit risk, developing trading and hedging strategies, publishing research reports and working with investors on various proprietary projects. Michael graduated cum laude from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University with a B.S. in Finance and Economics.
Quan Pham
Analyst
Quan's responsibilities include supporting the principals with asset management, deal sourcing, underwriting, and capital raising. Prior to joining West Point Partners, Quan was an Investment Sales Analyst at CBRE Vietnam, where he conducted financial due diligence with various commercial real estate projects within the region and facilitated the deal negotiations between buy/sell sides. Quan graduated from Rutgers Business School in New Jersey with a Master's in Financial Analysis degree. He also earned a B.S. in Finance and Real Estate from The Ohio State University.
